THIS POSITION IS ON A ROTATING SHIFT ***** YOU WILL WORK EVERY OTHER WEEKEND ON THIS ROTATION**** 12 HOUR SHIFTS***** 8AM TO 8PM

Principal Function: The Dispatcher is responsible for ensuring on-time delivery to Velox Express Clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include, but are not limited to:

· Coordinates all phases of dispatch.

· Maintains and monitors order activity including accurate and complete order entry.

· Issues time managed assignment of orders.

· Monitors order progress and proper order completion.

· Records order updates from start of order through completion.

· Monitors driver availability proactively to maintain on-time and accurate completion.

· Advises management of issues and deficiencies.

· Assists customers with questions including pricing, direction, follow-up, and requests for proofs of delivery.

· Pulls parts from warehouse, completes documents, and prepares for shipment or delivery.

· Assists warehouse staff, as needed.
