General Manager | Freshies Convenience Store & Deli – Ellsworth/MDI Market Area

We’re currently hiring a General Manager for the Ellsworth/MDI Market Area — someone who brings energy, dependability, and a strong focus on people. If you’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading a team, we’d love to meet you.


What You’ll Do:

As General Manager, you’ll oversee store operations while fostering a positive work environment and ensuring excellent customer experience.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Managing daily operations: cleanliness, inventory, staffing, and scheduling.
  • Leading, training, and supporting your team to meet performance standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, food, alcohol, tobacco, lottery, and fuel regulations.
  • Overseeing vendor relationships and executing marketing promotions.
  • Monitoring store performance and working toward financial goals.
  • Following all company policies and procedures to ensure consistency and accountability.

What We’re Looking For:


  • Associate Degree or equivalent work experience in retail or food service management.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • A hands-on leader who is dependable and goal-driven.
  • Ability to adapt and problem-solve in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to obtain Serve Safe™ and Tank Smart certifications (training provided if needed).
