About the position

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and support technology applications within the National IT Buying team.
  • Escalate incidents and requests to appropriate internal personnel leaders or external vendors when further expertise is required.
  • Recommend process improvements for area of responsibility.
  • Resolve incidents and requests in a timely manner; document work and resolution steps within service management tool.
  • Participate in the overall ITIL service management processes for software and hardware solutions.
  • Assist or coordinate with national and international project delivery, including documentation, testing, training, and deployment for software or hardware solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to direct leader.
  • Comply with ALDI privacy and security requirements and policies if job responsibilities include possible access to confidential and/or sensitive information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge required.
  • Understanding of supply chain processes.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience with Ariba Tendering & Contracting and Supplier Lifecycle / S4 Hana is preferred.
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle, SAP MDG, Informatica P360 (a plus).
  • Experience in Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow (a plus).
  • Experience with SQL (a plus).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective time management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficient with office productivity software.
  • Ability to define specifications from user requirements.
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
