It takes more than steel, advanced electronics and engine thrust to make the F-35 Lightning II, the world's fifth generation fighter, take flight. It is the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) that gives F-35 Lightning II operators the ability to plan ahead, to maintain, to plan and sustain its systems over the life of the air vehicle. ALIS provides the IT backbone and capabilities to support current and future Warfighters across the U.S. and allied military services.

Reporting to the F-35 ALIS Technology Management and Logistics Manager, the selected candidate will serve as a Mult Fnc Info Sys Anlst Asc within the Hybrid Product Support Integrator (HPSI) organization. This position will support the sustainment of F-35 locations worldwide - both foreign and domestic.

The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to manage the technology of ALIS/ODIN hardware, and firmware products across several concurrent development baselines and sustainment baselines, all in different stages of the engineering lifecycle.

Responsibilities will also include analysis, fix, test, and deliverables for Problem Tracking Reports associated to hardware and firmware. Interaction with Hardware Engineering, Quality Assurance, Configuration Management, Systems Engineering, Information Assurance, Production Floor, LRIP and Software Engineering to ensure program contractual delivery dates are met.

This position may require some travel.

Able to obtain and maintain secret level clearance.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Systems & software engineering process knowledge
Desired skills
  • Sustainment Engineering Experience related to Technology Management
  • Knowledge of JSF F-35 Autonomic Logistic Information System (ALIS) system

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
