Job Summary

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Food Packing Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the careful and efficient packing of hot food into trays, sealing trays with lids, and preparing them for shipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scooping/Ladling Hot Food: Accurately portion and ladle hot food into trays, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Tray Sealing: Place lids on trays securely to maintain freshness and prevent spillage.
  • Packaging: Arrange sealed trays into boxes and ensure they are properly labeled for shipment.
  • Shipment Preparation: Assist in packaging and preparing boxes for delivery, following company protocols and safety standards.
  • Quality Control: Inspect food portions and packaging for adherence to company standards and report any discrepancies.
  • Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to handle hot food safely.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in food packing or a related field is preferred but not required.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30AM-2:30PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
