About the position

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate all production machinery including forklifts, pallet jacks, hoses, etc.
  • Manually handle cased goods around the manufacturing area.
  • Follow all safety rules and requirements and GMP guidelines.
  • Weigh and prepare raw materials for processing.
  • Provide coverage for line operators during assigned rest periods.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area.
  • Work with fellow operators as a team to achieve safety, quality, and production goals.
  • Assist maintenance with troubleshooting equipment problems.
  • Perform general housekeeping and plant clean up as needed.
  • Accurately document production activities and submit required paperwork.
  • Work overtime and weekends as required.
  • Uphold and participate in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy, and MMAD volunteering opportunities.

Requirements

  • Ability to use hands to handle, reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, or kneel for much of the assigned shift.
  • Ability to stay at work station and area for three continuous hours.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable being exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, and occasionally exposed to extreme cold.
