Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Data Storage Administrator to join our team at Hobby Lobby. As a remote data entry professional, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our data storage systems, ensuring data backups, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing ongoing suggestions and best practices to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain enterprise data storage systems, including NAS, SAN, and DAS conditions
  • Implement and maintain enterprise backup and data security technologies
  • Efficiently manage and monitor reporting platforms and software
  • Define and implement storage capacity planning strategies, based on industry standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with application, database, server, and other technology teams on architecture and configuration selection
  • Provide technical support and guidance on complex activities, such as installation, configuration, and backup/restore operations
  • Perform code updates and security patching to maintain the integrity of storage systems

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in data storage or a related field, with emphasis on networking and storage protocols
  • Industry knowledge and experience with large-scale SAN design and implementation
  • Proven expertise in enterprise storage administration, with skill in DellEMC, Cisco, and similar OEMs
  • Strong understanding of current and emerging data protection technologies
  • Experience with NAS concepts and protocols (CIFS, NFS, and S3)
  • Knowledge of data synchronization technologies for both SAN and NAS
  • Operating system administration skills (both Linux and Windows)
  • VMWare concepts and administration
