Position Overview:

The job entails you to take an external sales role, where promoting Sysco's product and service offerings and cultivating relationships with potential and ongoing customers are paramount. The ultimate aim is to secure our client’s success while realizing Sysco’s sales and profit targets. The role may demand working unconventional hours to accommodate our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

- Exploring, qualifying, and growing new accounts while maintaining existing accounts for enhanced sales growth
- Analyzing market trends and suggest products that cater to customers' business requirements
- Staying abreast with market conditions, product innovations, competitors' offerings, sales, and pricing
- Fielding customer queries regarding product availability, pricing, and use
- Training clients on product specifics
- Utilizing personal transport for business meetings, conventions, etc.
- Managing account receivables alongside the credit department
- Supervising deliveries and resolving related issues
- Participating in varied sales meetings, company events, promotions, customer visits, etc
- Continually seeking new training and coaching opportunities
- Reviewing and creating daily and weekly reports encompassing special-order requests, customer bid files, and sales/profit margins data
- Undertaking administrative duties such as sales budgets, sales records, processing credits and pick-up requests, quotes, menu suggestions, and filing reports
- Other responsibilities, as needed.

Qualification Requirements:

- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- High School Diploma/GED coupled with 3 years’ experience in Restaurant Management, Business-to-Business, or outside sales
- Equivalent experience including successful completion of Sysco’s Sales Internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bi-lingual candidates
- Prior experience in Restaurant Management, Foodservice sales, Outside Sales, or Chef roles.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Current car insurance
- Capacity to pass our pre-employment screenings (Drug Screen, Background Check)
- Signee of the Sysco Protective Covenants Agreement
- Willingness to relocate as per territory requirements.

Professional Skills:
