About the position

This senior level analyst position is responsible for the configuration and support of Oracle Cloud HCM application systems within the People Organization. As part of the HR Technology team, this role provides complex analytical and consultative support delivering HR processes. The analyst will be expected to provide technical input for Digital/vendor support, ensuring that the systems are functioning optimally and meeting the needs of the organization. The role involves reviewing open cases and issues, troubleshooting them, or assigning them to other tech team members for resolution. The analyst will coordinate with vendors regarding required support by opening tickets, escalating issues, and following up as necessary. Continuous development of advanced knowledge of the assigned applications is crucial, utilizing vendor websites, user groups, and training to effectively utilize system capabilities. Mentoring other team members and being recognized as an expert in the field is also a key aspect of this position. Consultation on requested configuration changes is a significant part of the job, where the analyst will partner with the team to determine the best options for design decisions based on documented requirements, current configuration, and downstream impacts. The analyst will document final specifications and configure the application accordingly. Analyzing the impact of configuration changes from foundational structures to Fast Formulas and extensions to HR service delivery and downstream systems is essential, as is leading meetings to resolve priority issues. Ensuring data integrity and governance is another critical responsibility, which includes supporting large and complex data imports and extracts, validating accuracy through reporting and queries, and supporting the development and maintenance of integrations and file transfers. The analyst will also provide analysis and consultation on the implementation of new software application products or new modules in existing applications, as well as experienced support for integrations, reports, and large data imports/extractions. Planning for and supporting migrations, releases, upgrades, and/or patches while mitigating risk and downstream impacts is also part of the role. The analyst will execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing, and may support the functional team with required screenshots and system steps for testing and change management. Finally, the analyst may be responsible for configuring and delivering moderate to complex reports and queries utilizing delivered software, following established data governance protocols, and documenting all configurations thoroughly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (accredited), or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience.
  • ,
  • Eight (8) years of previous experience (in addition to education requirement).
  • ,
  • Eight (8) years of prior HCM Application experience as well as five (5) years of hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud HCM with a focus on Workforce Compensation Plans and Core HR modules.

  • Database queries/extracts using calculations, formulas, and complex commands.

  • Extensive experience evaluating requirements and specs for development, testing and deployment.
