As a Senior Tax Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

Tax Strategy Development: Collaborate with clients to create and implement tailored tax strategies that minimize liabilities and align with their financial goals. Tax Compliance: Ensure clients' compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations by preparing, reviewing, and filing accurate tax returns. Research & Analysis: Stay updated on current tax laws and perform in-depth research to interpret complex tax codes, ensuring the best outcomes for clients. Client Advisory: Provide expert tax planning and advisory services to individual and corporate clients, identifying tax-saving opportunities and offering guidance on tax-efficient investments. Audit Support: Represent clients in audits, managing interactions with tax authorities, and addressing any disputes or compliance issues. Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with internal teams, including accountants and financial planners, to deliver comprehensive solutions that support clients' overall financial strategies. Mentorship & Guidance: Provide leadership and mentorship to junior tax consultants, helping them develop their skills and knowledge of tax processes and regulations. Requirements:

To succeed as a Senior Tax Consultant, you will need:

Education: A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required. A CPA, EA, or other relevant certification is highly preferred. Experience: A minimum of 5 years of tax consulting experience, with a strong background in individual, corporate, and partnership taxation. Tax Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations, as well as familiarity with international tax matters. Technical Skills: Proficiency in tax software such as ProSeries, Lacerte, or similar tools, as well as strong Excel skills. Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze complex tax situations and deliver clear, actionable recommendations to clients. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication to effectively explain tax concepts to clients and guide them through decision-making processes. Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and detail to ensure compliance and maximize tax efficiency for clients.
