Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an outstanding dining experience through attentive service, menu knowledge, and effective communication. Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
  • Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including daily specials, to enhance the guest experience.
  • Upsell food and beverage items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and promptly.
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Maintain knowledge of current menu offerings, including ingredients and preparation methods.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Server in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is advantageous.
  • Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and efficiently.
