As part of the team, you will work collaboratively with designers, engineers, product management, and other program managers leading projects throughout the planning, design, and development lifecycle. As a Sr. Design Program Manager, your emphasis will be on planning and prioritization of design deliverables, schedule tracking, mitigating project risks, and collaborating with design leads to deliver innovative solutions across work streams.<br><br>Are you interested in joining the team to lead Amazon Photos’ next innovation?<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br><br><ul><li> Partner closely with designers, leads, and managers to advocate for user centered design</li><li> Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints</li><li> Put repeatable processes in place that help us plan and manage multiple parallel projects and run our business</li><li> Create and manage team backlogs, communicate status, and coordinate reviews with stakeholders and senior management</li><li> Working across teams to create strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leadership teams</li><li> Work proactively to clarify requirements and use cases, actively seeking clarification when there is ambiguity</li><li> Seek opportunities to make improvements to team efficiency and process.</li><li> Primary point of contact for design, working closely with design leads and directors to proactively clarify requirements and use cases, actively seeking clarification when there is ambiguity.<br><br></li></ul>A day in the life<br><br>Our design team is looking for a Sr. Design Program Manager to join our growing team. As a Sr. Design Program Manager, your emphasis will be on collaborating with design leads to deliver innovative solutions across work streams. You will do that by partnering with design, research, and product teams to plan and deliver projects bringing new ideas and experiences to our customers.<br><br><strong>About The Team<br><br></strong>As part of the team, you will work collaboratively with designers, engineers, product management, and other program managers leading projects throughout the planning, design, and development lifecycle. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $192,600/year in our highest geographic market.
