We work in a team environment and interact with production personnel and studio executives at all levels. Our Infrastructure Engineering team is looking for Sr Site Reliability Engineers to build, deploy, operate, and sustain our critical infrastructure and systems in AWS. The team will operationalize the stability and reliability of these systems and discover innovative ways to scale and operate them reliably as we expand. You will deploy and monitor the systems and automation to ensure that critical infrastructure is operating optimally and implement mechanisms to prevent service impacting incidents. You will utilize trends and metrics to identify opportunities for improvements within existing frameworks, tools and processes to continuously improve systems. Site Reliability Engineers focus on automating infrastructure at scale and using best practice stability and reliability protocols to ensure reliability and repeatability.<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br><br>The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, be detail driven, and have excellent problem-solving abilities. You demonstrate expertise with AWS-based infrastructure, products and solutions. You will be comfortable designing, building, deploying, and operating, as well as resolving critical issues. The role will be responsible for systems functionality, performance, and optimizing configurations and the ideal candidate can demonstrate sound knowledge of scripting concepts and theory. It is important that you can earn trust of your peers and stakeholders through your body of work and day to day interactions. This role requires ambition, thinking big, self-motivation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and startup-like environment.<br><br>A day in the life<br><br><ul><li> Comfortable designing, developing, deploying, and IaC, Python, and scripts</li><li> Infrastructure design in AWS environments</li><li> Builds AWS-based solutions for problems of sizable scope and complexity that have been successfully deployed to customers/users</li><li> Champions Infrastructure as Code (IaC); provides thought leadership; establishes enterprise-level infrastructure patterns.</li><li> Builds and enhances Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.</li><li> Mentors less experienced software engineers. Collaborates with other teams and engineers to find innovative solutions for moderately complex problems.</li><li> Comfortable designing, building, deploying, and operating cloud systems in AWS, as well as resolving critical issues in cloud environments.<br><br></li></ul><strong>About The Team<br><br></strong>Our Infrastructure Engineering team builds, deploys, operates, and sustains our critical applications, infrastructure and systems in the cloud. You will deploy and monitor the systems, with automation to ensure that critical infrastructure is operating optimally while implementing mechanisms to prevent service impacting incidents. You will utilize trends and metrics to identify and communicate opportunities for improvements within existing frameworks, tools and processes to continuously improve systems.<br><br>Engineers are responsible for developing the tools, platforms, and methodologies that deliver performant, resilient, and efficient cloud platforms and architectures. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market.
