High School Diploma or GED required. br /2. Bilingual in Yuprsquo;ik and English preferred. br /3. Demonstrated successful experience working with young people with special needs in a school setting preferred. br /4. Ability to carry out instructional activities with a minimum of direct supervision.br /5. Willingness to participate in future training programs as required. br /6. Ability to communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents. br /7. Current first aide/CPR certificate preferred. br /8. Ability to live and work in a cross-cultural, rural Alaskan environment. br /9. Ability to successfully carry out the duties described below. /span/td /tr tr td class="style9" align="left" valign="top" width="150"Duties:/td td class="style8" align="left"span id="FormView1_Duties" class="style10"1. Works with a specific students to present and reinforce lessons planned by the teacher. br /2. Sets up and operates equipment required by specific students. br /3. Assists the students with non-instructional classroom duties such as: snack, restroom, and clothing routines. br /4. Assists with the supervision of students during lunch periods, assemblies, play periods, and on field trips. br /5. Alerts the teacher of any problem or special information about the students. br /6. Maintains the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students and fellow employees as is expected of teachers. br /7. Maintains a sense of responsibility and positive attitude toward students and fellow employees. br /8. Performs other duties as assigned. /span/td /tr /tbody /table
