Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service and safety, with the ability to manage conflicts effectively. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for providing roadside assistance and transporting vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate various types of towing equipment, including flatbed tow trucks.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to calls for roadside assistance and towing services.
  • Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed models, to transport vehicles.
  • Load and unload vehicles with care, ensuring no damage occurs during transport.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients and addressing their needs.
  • Conduct routine checks on towing equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Utilize conflict management skills when dealing with distressed customers or challenging situations.
  • Maintain accurate records of services rendered and vehicle conditions.
  • Assist with minor mechanical issues on-site when necessary.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic vehicle issues and perform minor repairs.
  • Experience in commercial driving, particularly with tow trucks and flatbed vehicles.
  • Ability to load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Forklift operation experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Conflict management skills to handle difficult situations professionally.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
