ALDI is hiring Cashiers and Stockers to work together towards a better customer shopping experience.

As part of a collaborative team, you'll use registers and equipment, keep shelves stocked, ensure cleanliness, and provide outstanding customer service.

Position Type: Part-Time

Average Workload: Below 30 Hours per Week

A starting pay of $18.50 per hour is provided to new employees

Duties and Responsibilities:

The position requires the employee to fulfill responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Interacts positively with co-workers and keeps their immediate supervisor informed at all times
  • Protects the secrecy and security of documents and data within their purview
  • Extra duties as allocated

Cashier Responsibilities:

  • Conducts customer purchases, performs janitorial tasks, arranges commodities on shelves, and ensures the product displays look inviting and neat
  • An exceptional shopping experience is created by assisting customers with their specific shopping needs
  • Provides consistent feedback and regular updates to management regarding all aspects of product management, including inventory levels, scanning technology, and merchandising concerns
  • Plays an active role in the store inventory counts as per the set protocols and ensuring inventory accuracy
  • Adhering to cash policies and procedures is crucial for minimizing the risk of losing money

Stocker Responsibilities:

  • Providing customers with fresh and high-quality products thanks to diligent shelf-stocking and rotation
  • Utilizing a pre-designed planogram for merchandise displays is a reliable method for generating high-quality and aesthetically-pleasing product exhibits
  • Effectively organizing new merchandise and eliminating empty boxes by breaking them down is a fundamental responsibility
  • In order to successfully carry out the assigned tasks, it is essential to have experience in handling sophisticated machinery and following safety procedures

Physical Demands:

  • The job description of the store requires its employees to undertake a variety of bodily movements, such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking
  • Stockroom Clerk: Aptitude to transport merchandise from the receiving section to the shelves; proficiency in ordering items, with weights up to 45 pounds, on shelves located at varying heights
