Your responsibilities will include operating heavy machinery such as snowplows, salt spreaders, front-end loaders, and backhoes to maintain the roads, inspecting and testing materials used, and utilizing software to manage the Department's assets. After 18 months, each transportation technician is expected to cross-train in various construction areas.
