Warehouse Outbound UtilityJob DescriptionSummary:The WH Utility will work in a warehouse setting, learning alloutbound positions to fill in & assist with anywhere needed in thewarehouse, especially in the areas of shipping & receiving.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Move materials, equipment & supplies as needed, usingpickers/forklift trucks.Fills in for other warehouse positions on an as neededbasis-including pickers, packers, loaders, shipping & receiving, etc.Reviews work orders, schedules & other paperwork todetermine operations needed to perform warehouse work.Monitors cargo area conditions, securing cargo loads forshipment.Labels materials, supplies, and parts to identify forshipments.Repackages products/orders as needed.Restocks & orders packaging supplies when needed.Ascertains that all material moving equipment is in goodworking condition, reporting problems as they arise.Cleans work areas, facility, products, and packaging asnecessary. Performs other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:High School diploma, or GED equivalent needed.Good communication skills needed, especially listening &following orders.Must maintain a positive attitude & have a customerservice focus in a fast-paced environment.Multi-tasking, task prioritization, time management, andself-starter skills needed.Should possess flexibility & be able to embrace changewhen job changes quickly.Forklift truck experience a plus, will be a requirement ofposition.Shift:Mon-Fri, Full Time, Day Shift, Some Saturday rotation may benecessaryBenefits:Medical, dental, and vision insurances401k plan, with 4% employer matching upon meeting eligibilityrequirementsEmployer paid life insurance Voluntary benefits-Supplemental life, cancer, accident, etc.PTO, 6 Paid HolidaysWorking Conditions:Job will include periods of standing, walking, reaching,stooping/kneeling, and bending.
