About Us: Atlas Assistance Dogs is a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to service dogs and empowering people with disabilities.

We support individuals training their own dogs using ethical, positive reinforcement methods and build inclusive communities that celebrate the potential of all people and dogs.

Opportunity Overview: We are seeking a Volunteer YouTube Manager to help us grow and manage our YouTube channel. You will create and publish engaging video content that tells powerful stories, educates the public, and inspires support for Atlas Assistance Dogs.

This is a flexible, remote opportunity where you can set your own schedule and contribute your video editing skills to a cause that matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit and produce high-quality videos for YouTube using supplied footage, images, and audio
  • Add titles, captions, and on-brand graphics for accessibility and branding
  • Write engaging video titles, descriptions, and tags optimized for YouTube SEO
  • Maintain a consistent posting schedule based on our content calendar
  • Suggest new video ideas, formats, and themes to grow engagement and subscribers
  • Repurpose relevant content from Instagram, Facebook, or other platforms for YouTube
  • Monitor analytics in YouTube Studio to track growth and engagement, and share quarterly updates

Requirements:

  • Strong video editing and storytelling skills
  • Understanding of YouTube best practices (SEO, engagement, analytics, current algorithms)
  • Creative and organized, with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines
  • Reliable and committed to supporting our mission long-term
  • Minimum age: 18

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of disability language and culture
  • Familiarity with positive reinforcement dog training
  • Degree or coursework in Video Production, Social Media Marketing, or related field
