Working with industry experts, you’ll gain deep insights into the intricacies of YouTube, building a foundation of expertise for the rest of your career.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><p>You’ll have the opportunity to lead a team, and to spearhead the production of content for the channel. You’ll lead content ideation efforts, crafting the best stories and pre-production scripts for video concepts. From there, you’ll lead and organize shoots, capturing footage yourself for many of the videos. You’ll then work with video editors on the team to bring your creative vision to life and craft compelling content.</p><p>You’ll be expected to run autonomously and fully own the entire production process, while receiving mentorship from industry experts both in the SEO/digital marketing space and in the YouTube space along the way.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Basic Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of experience as a producer and/or director, with a strong portfolio in creating video content independently</li><li>Strong interest, curiosity, and passion for big data, data tools, SEO, and marketing</li><li>Highly organized and able to work autonomously. A strong self-starter mentality is required to succeed in this role</li><li>Excellent storytelling skills and ability to simplify technical concepts for a broad audience</li><li>Willingness to participate in a paid freelance project during the interview process</li><li>Must live within a reasonable commuting distance to the Boston area, or be willing to relocate accordingly</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Interview Process</strong></p><p>Initial Screening > SME Interview > Written Assignment > Manager Interview > Paid Freelance Project</p><p>To clarify - During the interview process, you’ll be expected to complete a written exercise that vets your creative chops in content ideation.
