Position Summary

As a Data Analyst you will be a member of the Strategic Analytics, Value and Economics (SAVEs) team. The SAVEs team performs a range of claims-based analyses, payer analytics, and modeling to support our life sciences and healthcare services clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform healthcare claims-based analytics which include health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), market-based assessment of diseases or treatment usage.
  • Execute analyses in Medicare and Medicaid healthcare claims

Competencies

  • Willingness and ability to quickly learn datasets and payment systems, solve complex problems with minimal-to-moderate supervision
  • Works independently to complete specific components of research and analysis to support project delivery

Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task
  • Project management and time management skills
  • SAS, SQL
  • Advance Microsoft Office skills Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Education

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferable in a healthcare, economic, or mathematics related field

Experience

  • 3 plus years working in SAS, SQL, or other relevant programming experience
  • Experience working with health care datasets and performing quantitative research
