Are you a visionary leader and Salesforce architect with a passion for transforming higher education with Salesforce?
As a Principal Salesforce Education Cloud Solution Architect, you'll play a leadership role in an entrepreneurial division by leveraging your higher education client relationships and industry knowledge for business development, defining go-to-market strategies, leading client implementations, mentoring and growing consulting teams, and expanding IntraEdge's presence in the higher education market. You will be involved with Salesforce partner relationship management and working with Salesforce Account Executives to help clients understand the value of pairing the Salesforce platform with IntraEdge's Education services and product offerings.



Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a project Executive Sponsor and/or Solution Architect for client engagements, and work with project teams to achieve client project success and project profitability.
  • Present and demonstrate solutions to clients, gaining buy-in and building trust.
  • Stay up to date on the latest Education Cloud features and functionalities.
  • Participate in Salesforce community activities and conferences.
  • Publish white papers and social posts as part of go-to-market activities and marketing campaigns.
  • Partner with higher education clients to translate their strategic goals into actionable implementation roadmaps.
  • Assess complex business processes related to student recruitment, engagement, retention, success, and other processes and design cross-platform solutions needed to help students and faculty thrive.
  • Work with project teams to create and/or evaluate proposed implementation plans with an eye on how to best mitigate risk.
  • Design and architect scalable, secure, and user-friendly Salesforce Education Cloud solutions that meet client requirements. This may involve leveraging native functionality, configurations, customizations, 3rd party applications, and systems integrations.
  • Develop and document clear solution architectures and blueprints, including data models and user journeys.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Mentor Junior team members on best practice approach to implementations and managing client expectations
  • Provide sales support by developing solution designs, content, and financial estimates for RFP responses and other sales activities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed to support client and/or internal initiatives. Most project work will be performed remotely.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree is preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience serving as a Salesforce Solution Architect.
  • Proven history of project leadership, sales and business development support, and client engagement management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Education Cloud functionalities such as Enrollment Management, Learner Success, Community Management, Student Lifecycle Management, or Advancement.
  • Experience working with higher education institutions and their specific challenges related to student lifecycle management, admissions, and enrollment.
  • Experience leading End-to-end CRM project implementations.
  • Proven history serving as a higher education industry specialist.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills. Ability to quickly establish relationships of trust and collaboration.
  • Salesforce certifications - minimum required certifications are Salesforce Admin and Salesforce Education Cloud.
  • Understanding of the Salesforce platform, including its core functionality and capabilities (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.). Knowledge of Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional experience for consideration:
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations using tools such MuleSoft, Boomi, or Informatica.
  • Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud.
  • Functional knowledge of OmniStudio.
  • Understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices.
