They are seeking a Data Center Account Executive to manage relationships with senior level technical personnel and decision makers, provide technical advice during the sales process, and proactively solve customer business needs using Dell’s products and services.


Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with senior level technical personnel and decision makers
  • Demonstrate the value of Dell to advance customer business objectives
  • Provide insight and thought leadership to customers concerning applicability of highly complex products and services
  • Act as a technical resource for the sales organization to help meet and exceed their objectives
  • Help the Dell RTX sell-to team, as well as multiple Dept of Defense and US Governmental Civilian Agency account teams, position and sell solutions both through RTX and to end-user customers across the wide variety of RTX’s customer base

Skills

  • Advanced sales and technical knowledge of the Dell Infrastructure Solutions Group products, partners, and families of technologies
  • Excellent understanding of DOD mission use cases and how to appropriately position Dell to enhance this use cases
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills to communicate with customers, support personnel and leadership
  • US DOD security clearance (TS preferred, minimum SECRET)
  • 8+ years of related experience in a relationship selling role
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge
  • Experience selling solutions to and through larger Federal System Integrators
