We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team.

  • Job Summary: Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment, utilizing advanced clinical skills and critical thinking to optimize patient outcomes.

About the Position:

  • Location: Hutchinson, KS
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift Details: 36 hours per week with 13-hour shifts

Responsibilities:

  1. Care for patients with complex medical needs, including those requiring invasive life support measures and close monitoring.

  2. Develop and implement individualized plans of care, incorporating evidence-based practices and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

  3. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.

  4. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 2 years of ICU experience required; travel healthcare experience preferred.
  • Licensure/Certifications: Active RN licensure in Kansas and current BLS certification required; additional certifications may be necessary based on specialty.
  • Skills: Strong clinical skills, effective communication, and ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
