Every other weekend, rotating holidays.</li><li>Salary range is $30-$58/hr dependent on years of experience. Also get a bump if they have BSN. Shift differential is $2.00/hr for evenings, $2.50 for nights, $2.70 for weekends.</li><li>A full benefit package including: Sign-on/relo of either $5k for 1 year or $10k for 2 year commitment and offer $5k per year in tuition reimbursement.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What You’ll Be Doing<br><br></strong><ul><li>Provides general nursing care to patients in hospital health care facility by performing the following duties.</li><li>Utilizes AIDET in daily communication with patients, visitors, staff, and other departments.</li><li>Greets visitors and accompanies to destination.</li><li>Coordinates with Charge Nurse to obtain appropriate patient assignment. Obtains bedside report from off going RN or LPN, obtains a unit telephone.</li><li>Updates and maintains the patient’s White Communication board.</li><li>Performs head to toe assessment on all assigned patients. Documents in the electronic chart in real time.</li><li>Monitors patient throughout shift and documents changes: Notifies providers if needed; Keeps Charge Nurse or House Supervisor aware of patient changes;<br><br></li></ul>Monitors telemetry and keeps SCU up to date of patient changes; Monitors labs and test results.<br><br><ul><li>Performs Hourly Rounding: Coordinates with assistive staff; Documents as required; Provides teaching to patient.</li><li>Administers prescribed medications in accordance to approved nursing techniques and by using Med/Verify.</li><li>Administers treatments as directed by physician and per nursing standards and policies.</li><li>Educates patients and families throughout shift. Documents education on electronic flow chart<br><br></li></ul><strong>Additional Info<br><br></strong>Facility is acute care hospital under 50 beds and not for profit. Target ratio is 5:1, likely will be 3-4:1 until census grows.
